A voice fix worth updating for on its own: a server restart or a channel
code rotation during a call no longer leaves it one-way. Around it, a run
from the tracker: a Delete All My Messages button behind an admin switch,
guests can be kept to text, Mark everything as read, a wider tag picker,
and fixes for stale Today labels, middle-click in the pop-out DM, a Discord
pairing that slipped back to mirroring, and pictures wrongly hidden as
blocked. Two settings are added on first start; nothing to run by hand.
Added
good. An admin turns it on under Settings, Members ("Members can delete
all their own messages"); the button then appears in everyone's Settings
next to Delete Account. It asks for the password, confirms twice, and
removes every message and file the person posted, in every channel and
DM, whether or not their role may delete messages one at a time. Messages
a moderator has protected are kept, and the audit log records it. Asked
for by @quakeman00.
"Guests can join voice and video" switch, on by default. Off, a guest can
read and type in the channels you picked but cannot join a call, and the
Join Voice button is not shown to them. Asked for by @wxdth88.
pick it. Every channel and DM you belong to is marked read, including
ones the sidebar is not showing, so an unread badge with nothing to click
can be cleared. Asked for by @quakeman00.
Changed
list is a short scroll now, and it shows up to 100 tags before you type.
Edit tags is also on the right-click menu of a picture, since a picture
post has almost nowhere else to right-click. Asked for by @quakeman00.
Fixed
the connection to the server blinked, every client "healed" its call by
restarting the link to each person in it, even though those links were
fine, and both people did it at the same moment. The two restarts
collided and the call came back one-way: one person could hear, the other
was sending nothing, until someone reloaded. Healthy links are left alone
now, and for a link that really is down only one side goes first.
was long enough to scroll, its rows were squeezed shorter than their text.
Reported by @quakeman00.
Those two lists had ended up with two handlers each, so one click asked
for two tabs, and on Windows the middle button's autoscroll could swallow
the click before Haven saw it. There is one handler for every message
list now, and autoscroll no longer starts on a picture.
With a link policy switched on, a picture that had not loaded yet was
judged by its placeholder address instead of its real one, so the
server's own uploads were hidden behind the warning.
control on a pairing saved the whole row as that window showed it, so a
settings panel left open somewhere else, still showing the old values,
could undo "On command". Only the control that was changed is saved now.
Yesterday labels were written once and never looked at again, so an app
left open past midnight kept them. They are rewritten when the day
changes, and when the window comes back from being hidden or asleep.
