Most of this one came from contributors. Pictures and files can carry tags
that search and the media gallery filter on; Settings, Permissions is a grid
of roles with a Users tab; a channel can switch reactions off; Save Image
asks where to save; and the interface's icons get a third look, Glyphs.
Around that, a run of fixes from the tracker. Two tables and one column are
created on first start; nothing to run by hand.
Added
you send it, or later from the message menu under Edit tags. A message
shows its tags under it, and clicking one searches for it. Search has a
tag:filter, and Files & Media has a Tags filter, tag chips on everytile, and Append or Replace across a selection. The tag list is one list
for the whole server: anyone can use a tag that exists, making a new one
needs the new Manage Tags permission, and Settings, Tags is where they are
added, renamed, merged and deleted. Limits for tags per upload and tag
length are under Limits. Not in DMs, which the server cannot read, or in
forum channels, which have their own tags. Someone who cannot make tags
does not see the tag bar until the server has at least one. A Frequent
row under the tag bar offers the tags you use most, one click each. By

picker, and through the save dialog in the desktop app; Cancel says so
instead of failing silently. It saves the file itself, so a GIF stays a
GIF. Chat pictures that went black in some Tauri webviews stay on screen.

has a Reactions switch, on by default. Off hides the react button and the
server refuses new or removed reactions; the ones already there stay. DMs

Roles button in Settings is now Permissions: every server role is a
column, every permission a row, and a tick is the whole job. The Users tab
picks one person, adds or removes a role with a click, and ticks a
permission just for them; each of those changes lands in the audit log.
More options opens the old role editor, which is unchanged. Servers keep
the roles they have. A new server, or Reset to Default, now starts with
Member, Channel Mod, and a Mod who can also ban, create channels, promote

Interface Icons (the old Toolbar Icons) has Glyphs next to Monochrome and
Colorful Emoji. It redraws the icons across the whole interface with a
bundled Font Awesome font, through the new Haven Glyphs plugin, and leaves
message text, reactions and the pickers alone. The plugin and font are by
@bernardokcosta.
the game under Activity and the Steam store page for it opens in a new
tab. Asked for by @birdcrazy.
Hide NSFW channels, a switch that is on by default. Off, a topic marked
🔞 shows plainly with its tag still on it. Asked for by @quakeman00.
from the pop-out DM with the button or by dropping them on it; paste was
the only way before. Middle-click opens a picture in a new tab there and

@danonly found names that started with "dan", so TheDannister needed
@the.Any part of a display name, login name or nickname matches now, with
names that start with the letters listed first. Role pings match the
same way. Reported by @quakeman00.
composer buttons folded into one, the + sat a little shorter than the box
beside it. By @birdcrazy.
recorder sent them with the browser's spelling, which the desktop app's
shortcut system does not accept. Reported by Constooli on the desktop
tracker.
Update, Desktop app and Android pills came back at the top when switching
from Braid to another look, because the layout remembered a hidden banner

where the first message in a channel had nowhere to drag up to. Dragging
down now makes the box taller. Reported by @quakeman00.
Discord throttles a channel it says how long to wait; the bridge waited at
most ten seconds once and then gave up with Discord's own words, which read
as a fault. It now waits out anything up to thirty seconds, three times
over, with later messages queued behind, and when the wait is longer than
that the toast says so and how long. Reported by Andalishious.
